The Gold Maple Leaf coins from Royal Canadian Mint has the honour to be the longest-running gold coin series as they release one each year. These coins were first launched in the year 1979. These coins can easily be distinguished by the design of maple leaf on one side and the sculpture of Queen Elizabeth II on the other side. Metro Bullion is proud to offer the 2020 edition of 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf coin from RCM.
Specifications:
The Gold Maple Leaf coin series was introduced at the point of time when only South Africal Gold Krugerrand coins were available as gold Bullion coins to the investors and collectors. It was in 1979 when they first introduced these coins.
Canadian Gold Maple leaf coins were initially available as .999 fine gold content weighing 1 oz only. Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) first introduced its .9999 pure gold in the year 1982 and the same tradition lingered since then. Now all GML coins are .9999 gold purity bearing different weights. This has tempted the investors of all levels
The obverse side of 2020 1 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coins have the right side profile portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This was designed by artist Susanna Blunt in 2003 and is the 4th generation portrait of the Queen.
The sugar maple leaf is engraved on the reverse side of 2020 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coin. The current design of the reverse side of the coin was made by Walter Ott and has been a beauty since then. The design became so popular that the mint used the same on all other metals versions of maple leaf gold coins.
At Bullion Mart 1 oz Canadian Maple Leaf coins are available as individual coin in a plastic flip case, a tube of 10 coins and a monster box of 500 coins. All 2020 Canadian Gold Maple Coins are protected by the Bullion DNA technology of RCM.
